Indicum Pullover by Hilary Smith Callis
Indicum Pullover by Hilary Smith Callis
Indicum (Latin for indigo) is a beautifully simple pullover with a minimalist embellishment of corrugated ribbing, a simple two-colour technique. This light sweater is made from two fingering weight yarns - choose one for the body, then use leftovers of your favourite sock yarn to add at the collar and hems, either a similar shade for a subtle accent, or a variegated yarn for a unique look. Indicum is simply knit from the top down, all in one piece, with minimal finishing. The scoop neck is formed with short rows; the sleeves are knit down from the underarms and end in very slight puffs. This lovely piece is perfect for transitional weather, layering, and playing with colour.
