This simple Aran weight scarf is a great project for beginner knitters. Its simple shape and textured stitch patterns give lots of opportunity to practise the basics.

This scarf needs:

• 200G Aran weight yarn (at least 330m)

• 5mm straight needles

• Tapestry needle for weaving in ends
